I am so disappointed I haven't kept up with my blog like I promised.
So many exciting things have happened since my last post.
Colby made the most beautiful bride everrrr
And this dress she looked so stunning is was picked out by none other than yours truly
They look so sweet and happy!
And they threw one heck of a wedding shindig!
With lots and lots of dancing!
And not only was this a special night for Colby and Bo but that's right!
We're official!
Something about weddings that brings out the love and happiness in us all
We had such a great time Colby and Bo!
Thank you for including me in your wedding!
Best wishes and may God bless your marriage

On July 12th the sweetest little angel baby ever was born!
Sara Brooke Gonder
Weighing in at 7 pounds 2 ounces and 17.5 inches long
Chubby cheeks
Big blue eyes
And a head full of dark hair
Even she can't help but grab those sweet little cheeks!
She loves snuggling with MayMay
And I sure love snuggling her!
I LOVE THIS BABY GIRL!!!
Congratulations Rachel, Alex, and Parker!

@maghenolivia

Eric Church released his new album.
And as expected, IT'S AMAZING!
But can you really expect anything less from this man?
I think not.

As I predicted
Ashley picked JP!!!!
I knew it!
And not only did she get the man
She got an ABSOLUTELY PERFECT ring to go along with him
I'm so jealous.

These are all sooooo perfect with me!
I think they would all look lovely on my finger
but if you're gonna go big or go home...and you really want a lot of diamonds
then I'll be okay with one of these :)

I think the diamonds are a great ending note haha
I hope everyone is doing great!!!
Don't forget to keep up with oodlesmacdoodles.blogspot.com
I'll be updating that site as well very soon!
New really cute stuff up!!
as well as tshirts!

Peace and Blessings.

Two Things

One.
p90x. worst idea ever.
I now know why it's called ab ribber.
I literally think I ripped my insides.
The pain lasts a LOT longer than the fifteen minutes of workout on the video.
Two.
I am absolutely obsessed with this song.
These two were perfect to sing it.
Garrett Hedlund's voice is simply amazing.

p.s. I found a dress for the wedding! thank you all for the prayers! I know they worked :)
Hope everyone has a great day!

I'm Back!

Oh my gosh yall I'm so sorry for my lack of blogging lately. I have tons of catching up to do!!
First of all..I have created a new blog for my designs!!
Share it with everyone, please please please!!!
I'm really excited to keep working on new projects!!
I think totally forgot to mention when I posted last time though that my first few canvases were designs I mocked from a very very talented artist, Megan Gunter, who owns her own business called elliepdesigns!
She is soo so great and I want to share her with everyone as well!
I can't and would never want to steal credit from her. She does an amazing job and I'm nowhere near as talented as her!
Look her up and support her as well!!!
I mentioned how excited I am to get more orders going.
One reason for that right now is the fact that I just finished creating my own customized Lexus IS.
DREAM CAR.
And I really want to make it mine
So ORDERR!!!!!!
:)
It is officially the week of Colby and Bo's wedding!
so exciting, right?!
Right!
But guess who doesn't have a dress.....
me!!
It will happen though, it. will. happen!
Another exciting thing?
Last week I purchased a Tory Burch makeup bag for $5.00 at Unclaimed!
Did I really just say Tory Burch and 5 bucks in the same sentence?
Why yes I did!
Has everyone been watching The Bachelorette?!?!

Let's go JP!! LOVE him!
Get this. I've managed to get John to watch with me...and he even knows their names!
Whether he admits it or not, he knows it's not that bad.
Last fun fact.
I did p90x for the first time today. We did ab ripper. That's all. and my LEGS hurt..how does this happen?!
I'm sure I'll be feeling this tomorrow.
I PROMISE to keep you updated more often readers! Thank you for being so patient and don't forget to
ORDER ORDER ORDER!!!

Summer Has Arrived!

I just typed a very long, very cute blog.
And LOST IT!
Thank you internet, thank you. That might have been the most frustrating thing that has happened to me all day.
Long time no blog, I know. I'm so sorry! It has been quite a month.
I hope everyone is still praying for all the storm victims as well as the family and friends of those who lost innocent lives in the tragic storms sweeping the south.
Also a big congratulations to the Scottsboro High School Class of Twenty Eleven!
I'm so jealous of all of yall tonight!! Graduation was a great memory. And SENIOR TRIP was an even GREATER one! Have fun and be safe!!!
For those of us who aren't taking beach trips or spending every day pool side or on Lake Guntersville summer brings dreaded summer jobs.
While I'm still job hunting I have had time to begin working on some projects I've been dying to do forever now!
After hours......and hours..........and hours.......of painting I present to you my very first canvas!
Cute huh?! and you can order your very own for only $20!!
I'm super excited to paint more so send me messages with what you want!
Colors, designs, names, letters, any ideas you might have! Let me put them to life!
I'll be painting on everything I can get my hands on and posting more pictures
I also just finished a wreath for Parker's baby sister, Sara Claire, who will be arriving this summer!
Great for baby shower, hospital door, and nursery!!
Every. Last. Flower. Is. Handmade.

And although it takes forever, I'm in love with the product!
Too cute and unique!
I really hope this is successful but it will only work with the help of YOU!
So spread the word! Place an order!
Let's get this show on the road!!

Dead Week

I've come to the conclusion that they refer to the week before finals as "dead week" because if you aren't dead already from the constant homework, research papers, 38420183 chapter tests, and 8 am labs, in approximately a week, you can start saying your goodbyes.
Yes.
Finals are next week.
Today's little blessing: I only have two awful finals to dread next week.
I'm completely burnt out on school and I've been overwhelmed with stress.
I decided to take a break this weekend in hopes of relieving some stress before burying myself in the books for two solid weeks.
Matt Dillon made the long boring drive home with me and upon my arrival to the Boro I was unexpectedly greeted by my favorite face in the world.
Surprise! John was home!!
It was easy to see we were home, alright. Whereas in our college towns the weekend would have started tonight, Scottsboro was dead. So we created our own fun including a 2 am trip to the fishing section at WalMart and spent some good time reflecting on some great memories with Hannah hahaha
I was able to catch up on some rest friday. Then like a super cool sister checked my brother out from school.
Walking in the junior high makes me feel so old. It seems like forever ago I was walking down those hallways begging for those days to end. What I would give to go back to prealgebra, writing notes, ugly gym clothes, monogrammed l.l. bean back packs, and relationships that lasted two weeks tops.
I partook in an excellent Mud Creek steak friday night with my family and boyyyyy was it delic! I swear I eat soo much more when I'm home. One reason I can't wait to be back for summer.
Friday Night also brought along a nice glass or three of wine, millions of pictures, a long lost Eric Storey, stitches in Ben's finger and a crushed toe for me, a big angry cat, hacked facebook statuses, and
Waffle House!
I love my beautiful friends!
Oh how I can't wait to be home and see what all summer has in store for us!
Saturday Caitlin and I spent time catching up in the sun and enjoyed route 44 slushes at happy hour.
Later that night we decided to hit up our favorite birthday dinner eating establishment BV to celebrate the births of AuBrey and Andrea.
TIM who happens to be our favorite German boy and my senior prom date decided to join!
We were so excited to see him!

After dinner I spent some more precious time with my precious John :)
Sunday was EASTER!
I traveled to Birmingham with my parents and brother to visit family.
As I was watching my sweet cousin Reagan hunt her eggs I was once again taken back to the simple times.
Her days consist of little league soccer and coloring books.
Such a sweet and simple way of life.
It was nice to relax and spend the day enjoying some great food with the family.
I came home to say bye to John and his family and prepared to come back to Tuscaloosa for my final two weeks of freshman year.
Maybe I can find time in all this hecticness to enjoy myself.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend...
May 6, May 6, May 6!!

BIRTHDAY BOO!

Miss Andrea Lynn DeWitt
Four. Twenty Five.
Special day for my best friend Andrea Lynn
If only I had a penny for every memory I had with you!
Scraping up change for happy hour, Dave Barnes, sharing clothes, band camps, our "bad boy" days, riding around the square, practicing our danceline routines in the back yard, crazy parties at Chad's, and all the many trips to school and long hot summer days we spend cruising around in Vinny!
I could go on all day about all the random things we've done but we'd probably be here all day.
We went through times where we were literally inseperable.
I can always depend on Andrea.
You're so down to earth and like me, you appreciate the little things in life.
I love that about you.
I know your parents are so proud of the beautiful, hard working, strong willed individual you have become.
I love you so much Andy Lynn!!
Happy Birthday, BOO!

Little Blessings

See this little lady here
This would be my biffle Brookie
You may recognize her as that girl with an amazing sense of fashion
or that girl with the really cute blog
This past weekend I was suppose to travel to Starkville for my very first visit to the land of the cowbell
However it was our ADay celebration here in Tuscaloosa and due to prior arrangements I was anable to make the trip
I was very happy to see some friends I haven't seen in a while as well as a few family members
But I couldn't help but regret my decision to stay here after seeing the pictures the girls posted of Starkville
Soooooo I planned to go see her tomorrow!!
and I bet you'll never guess what day I find out I have a chemistry test
TOMORROW
As if I didn't absolutely despise that class enough
I'm so upset. and I wish I was going. I've been so unbelievably stressed this week and tomorrow I'd drive ten hours to see Brooke if I could. I've been bogged down with so many decisions lately on top of all my school work and trying to plan a trip to the beach so I can finally relax after finals.
Tonight after completing my chemistry homework I decided to take a break and enjoy a nice, long, extremely hot shower.
I always think about things while I'm in the shower
And as I was washing my weave (baha!)
I started thinking about how blessed I am.
I'm blessed to be able to take showers, especially hot ones.
I was able to enjoy more than one nice hot meal today. One was a blessing in itself.
My tiny bed is a BIG blessing.
I'm blessed to have such wonderful friends and family. I can not wait to see them this weekend!
I'm blessed to be able to go to college. Tests, homework, studying, big decisions; it's all just part of growing up.
And I'm incredibly grateful for all of these things and more.
I think I'll start doing posts about little blessings just to remind myself and others that even when all else seems to fail, we have so much to still be thankful for.
Today's little blessing: my rainboots, rainjacket, and umbrella
It's been a nasty day here in Tuscaloosa today and I'm
hoping my test tomorrow isn't as ugly as the weather.
Thank you to those of you who have sent random sweet text messages this week.
They've been sent at exactly the right moments and mean so much
and a huge thank you to John Combs for putting up with me.
You of all people have seen the worst of it this week. I know all I've done is gripe and complain and you have been so patient. I appreciate everything you do for me. You're the best!!
I promise once finals are over, I'll be a new woman!
If you're feeling stressed, remind yourself that things could always be worse.

"It is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy, that makes happiness."
